Vivid Voyage (“we”, “us”, “our”) publishes travel writing and location guides at vividvoyage.co. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site and stay in touch with readers who ask us to.

The newsletter — The Private Edit
If you subscribe to our newsletter, The Private Edit, we collect the email address you provide and pass it to our email service, MailerLite, which stores it and delivers our messages on our behalf. We use it only to send you occasional editions and updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. MailerLite processes this data under its own privacy policy.
The contact form
When you write to us through the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you enter so that we can read and reply. These messages are delivered to info@vividvoyage.co and kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. We do not use contact-form details for marketing and do not add them to the newsletter unless you separately ask us to.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies. A single cookie records that you have dismissed our cookie notice so it does not reappear on every visit. Standard WordPress cookies may be set if you interact with the site in ways that require them. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles.
Embedded content and maps
Some articles include maps and other embedded content. Our maps are rendered with Leaflet using map tiles served by OpenStreetMap; loading those tiles sends your IP address to the tile provider, as it would when visiting any site that shows a map. Embedded content from other services (for example images or media) behaves exactly as if you had visited that other website, and those sites may collect data, set cookies, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content.
Analytics
We keep measurement light. If we use analytics to understand which articles readers enjoy, it is configured to respect your cookie choice and is not used to identify you personally.
How long we keep your data
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you follow up.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To unsubscribe from the newsletter, use the link in any edition or email us. To make any other request, contact info@vividvoyage.co and we will respond.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
